* Carlos Lohrmann who lives in Buenos Aires, is a descendant of the Windholz family

who came to Kansas from Herzog, Russia.  Carlos and other members of the Windholz

family will celebrate their reunion in Hays the weekend of the Oktoberfest. His grandmother

on the Windholz side of the family emigrated to Argentina from the same ancestral village in Russia.

This special occasion for Carlos and his father Alfredo Carlos Lohrmann Windholz is the culmination

of 8 years of working with Oren Windholz from Hays, Kansas and working on the history of Germans
